Vallauris

Vallauris is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is located in the metropolitan area of Sophia-Antipolis, and is a suburb of the city of Antibes, bordering it on its west side.

Built in the 70s and 80s, this 6,000 sqm property illegally blocked public access to the coastline. In 2006 the Fahd Family finally agreed to pay 600,000 euros to restore and build access to the public.
